Not a premium capo at a premium price

Purchased 24k gold finish for lasting luster - after all Thalia claims to be the beautiful capo - read their story about Thalia thinking Taylor Swift needed a beautiful capo. Only a few months after receipt of my 24k gold capo the finish begins to tarnish. Quote from Thalia after contact regarding the tarnished 24k gold, "We're also very sorry but our warranty only covers mechanical failures...", going on to offer a one time 20% discount on a new purchase. It's beautiful, if you get a good one and it works well as a capo. it's also very large and in the way for many types of playing. You can purchase a similar quality without the premium price. Been buying capos for 50 years and none have finish issues like this new one. Over priced specialty products like this one should offer a replacement, especially when they market their product as being beautiful. Will not recommend to anyone without alerting them to potentially faulty finishes. I fully expect his review to be deleted or rewritten.

A Delicious Surprise!!!

I was TRULY impressed with the beautiful supple leather of this strap. Buttery soft and the delicate iridescent Mandala Inlay is enchanting! You will NOT be disappointed with this beautiful work of art!

Worked Great

This kit was easy to use and repaired my Thalia Capo for continued service!

Perfect look!

This Picard looks better than I believe the original would have appeared on this Taylor guitar that came without a pick guard.

Stars and Stripes Capot

I’m very pleased with the appearance and performance, along with ease of operation.

T7 on Ibanez Hollow Body

T7 shape also fits on Ibanez Hollow Body. Love the beautiful cross on my 70’s PAF equipped jazz guitar.

Shirt

I just love the 3D look of the guitar and the hand! Really cool!

Chippy

The pick guard looked pretty nice until I wiped my guitar down for the first time after playing. I always wipe my guitars down with a microfiber towel after playing, and have never had an issue before. The pick guard material is quite thin. That’s probably an ok thing except that the one I received was also quite rough around the outside edge, so it snagged on my towel when I was wiping my guitar down after playing. With the pick guard material is very thin, so when a few of the rough spots snagged on my towel some small chunks were pulled out of the pick guard. Now it’s a bit lighter colored in those spots around the outer edge, and I was not too excited about that look. I’d already removed it when a review request came through via email. On the plus side, the pick guard did remove easily and cleanly with the included removal stick. I’d gladly accept an exchange for a Taylor capo since I’m out a good chunk of money on this pick guard. I've included one photo of the pick guard prior to removal and three after I took it off.

Truss Rod Cover

This is a simple upgrade for my GS Mini, replacing the plastic cover with a high quality and uniquely designed cover. It dresses up my guitar with a custom style that increases my enjoyment of the instrument’s beauty. I even get the Capo and pick puck to match. Thanks for the attention to detail.

A great capo with eye candy

The most important part is the capo and its ease of use. But the eye wants something too. This is where Thalia stands out. The Jellyfish capo is no exception providing beautiful underwater scenery with lots of details to discover.

Best capo I’ve ever owned

Better than expected. 100% recommend

Always top drawer products from Thaliz

I recently purchased a McPherson Sable Carbon Fiber guitar. I have had 6 or 7 Thalia Capos over the years, (love them) and couldn't get things to stay in tune. I then went to the website and found that they had a special 14" set of interchangeable devices specifically for the McPherson guitars. As usual, they came excellently packaged and after experimenting with the various inserts, I found the one that works perfectly with my new guitar. Thanks again Thalia for an American Made, outstanding product.

beautiful capo

i love my mother of pearl capo!

Acoustic guitar

With the new pick guard and the redwood bridge pins made a big difference to the looks of my acoustic, nice work guys👌

Cross Truss Rod Cover

I ordered a truss rod cover with a cross on it, for my Taylor guitar. It is beautiful and fits perfectly. It came very quickly and is very good quality.

Looking Good!

My Rosewood trussrod cover with mother-of-pearl inlaid phases of the moon looks great on my Taylor! The inlay is perfectly done and looks just as pictured on the website. It fit perfectly. Adds a little class!

Thalia has made very nice pick guard the one I purchased was a Quiled Buniga for my Taylor and what a difference it made for the whole guitar.

Attractive convenience

I have a Gibson J200 and the inlay design makes it blend much nicer with my guitar than other pick holders. It sits on the top and stores my picks for ease of access.

Purchased the Teflon type.

It is clearly different from other rubber fretpads. First, the sound quality is very clear. It is also excellent that I can tune normally even with the capo attached. Because Teflon is a hard material, when installed correctly it holds the strings more firmly than the common rubber capos. The Teflon fretpad, of course, wears, but since the fretpad is sold separately, all issues are solved. Perfect.

The best capo I have ever tried.

Although it has a simple clamp-only construction, this is a perfect capo in every respect: the clamping force is just right, it is easy to attach and remove, and key changes are easy. In particular, for changing frets (key changes), I can move the capo without breaking my left-hand playing form, so in terms of playability it is the only capo that is unmatched by any other.

Capo

Thalia capos simply put are the absolute best I've used in 57 years of playing guitar.

Overpriced

Yes its a decent capo, but this is the only capo where its hurts to squeeze open. No capo should be above $20 but at least some of the proceeds went towards something good..I hope
